Senna Racing suiteIn order to honor Senna,in partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute, the Italian company OMP Racing, responsible for producing the overalls used by many drivers of Formula 1 as Michael Schumacher and Ayrton himself has launched a limited edition of 41 replicas of overalls used by Senna at the Japanese Grand Prix 1991, when Senna  was consecrated triple world champion.

With the price of 5000 euros (about £ 15 000), plus the value added tax, the parts can be shipped to all regions of the world.

Everything was carefully calculated. The number of pieces refers to the amount of wins (41) of Ayrton Senna, and part of the revenues from the sale of overalls will be donated to the organization’s projects administered by the Senna’s sister, Viviane Senna – remember that the Instituto Ayrton Senna serves more than 2 million children and youth of about 1,300 municipalities in Brazil.

OMP Racing and Senna were in partnership from 1989 to 1994 – a period in which Ayrton stood in Formula 1, until the fateful day of the accident at the San Marino Grand Prix 1994. Besides him, the company also created the overalls for Gerard Berger and Nigel Mansel. The clothing will be sold only through the Internet, through the official website of OMP – www.ompracing.it -. The piece is identical to that used by Senna in 1991, including the logos of sponsors and the color of McLaren at the time and will be delivered to the buyer in a frame with certificate of authenticity.
