Bruno Senna has been spotted at the Williams factory in Grove. The Brazilian was subjected to physical assessment tests, and met the engineers, reports Globo Esporte. The nephew of the late Ayrton Senna apparently made a good impression on the Williams higher rank that will make the driver choice.

The British racing team is interested in Bruno because of his experience with the Renault engine. Williams changes in 2012 from Cosworth engines to Renault and thus renews a very successful past partnership. Rubens Barrichello also visited the Williams factory this week in an attempt to extend his Formula 1 career to 20 seasons.

Previously Adrian Sutil has been seen as the favourite for the Williams seat but the rumours are Senna carries significant greater sponsorship with him.
