SAP and Ayrton Senna Institute have expanded the partnership and, from now on, the multinational contributes directly to the cause of quality education. The company is making a contribution to the Reading Room Program, one of the most important maintained by the Institute, which, in partnership with the State Department of Education of SP, contributes to the transformation of the Reading Rooms of Schools into spaces for strengthening learning and development of students as protagonists, readers and textual producers. Since 2008, the Reading Room, through the promotion of reading and encouraging the protagonism of youth, has benefited approximately 410 thousand children and young people.
SAP’s partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute had begun in 2016 with the implementation of the SAP Business One solution that provided transparency, security, and increased efficiency in the organization’s management processes.
“SAP has one of its most outstanding pillars in promoting education and knowledge,” says Luciana Coen, Director of Integrated Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility. “We are delighted to collaborate with programs such as the Reading Room, geared towards the cultural and personal background of the new generation.”
According to the Institute, more than 80% of students enrolled in the Reading Room become successful readers. Throughout 2017, the program is present in approximately 1,300 schools and 25,500 children and young people.
“Since last year, SAP has supported us in several ways, and this new contribution reinforces the company’s commitment to the present and the future of Brazil, since only education is capable of making a real transformation in our country. Full development for children and young people is fundamental to build a better and fairer nation for all, “says Thiago Fernandes, business director of the Ayrton Senna Institute.
