On the tuesday evening,Ayrton Senna Institute has been awarded the Social category of the 13th Brazilian Youth Award. The ceremony, which took the singer Fiuk presentation took place in the Palace of Conventions Anhembi, in São Paulo.
Marco Crespo, Business Director of the Institute Ayrton Senna, was responsible for receiving the honor of the award on stage. The organization was recognized as one of the premier institutions in the country to perform social work aimed at the young.
This is the first time that the Institute receives this award. Before the organization, NGO A Roof For My Country had won the category for five consecutive years (2009-2013). Beyond the institutions Sou da Paz and the Morumbi Boys, among others, were honored.
The award aims to give a voice to young Brazilians and, therefore, it is an open voting by internet. This year, we counted more than 10 million votes in Brazil. The vote came the day April 13, Youth Day, until the 13th of October. The Brazilian Young Award highlights the best of the year in several categories including, Sports, Internet, Music, TV, Radio, Theatre, Photography, Dance, Advertising, Food and Business.
