Since 2006, the City Hall of Recife in partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute has worked together to combat the age-series distortion in the municipality. On Tuesday (14), the mayor Geraldo Julio visited the headquarters of the Institute, in São Paulo, and renewed the agreement of the programs “Se Liga” and “Acelera”. The document was also signed by the president of the Ayrton Senna Institute, Viviane Senna.
The secretary of Education of Recife, Bernardo D’Almeida, and the executive director of Pedagogical Management, Rogério Morais, accompanied the mayor during his visit.
“Partnering with the Ayrton Senna Institute is undoubtedly very important for us to reduce this distortion between the age of our students. So, the renewal of the programs Se Liga and Acelera are important actions, because the Institute is a partner of the City Hall and here we renewed the agreement and, sure enough, the results of 2019 will be very positive, “said Geraldo.
