It’s not too often you end up watching a movie that would truly leave a lasting impression on you (in this case a documentary).

You don’t have to know anything about car racing at all. Instead, you simply have to like a great story, one that has all the elements: drama, inspiration, competition, victory, defeat, betrayal and, looming above it all, tragedy.

I watch a ton of documentary’s on just about anything, i think if your going to watch a movie for 1-2 hours you mine as well learn something while watching it. I obtained a greater knowledge from watching this movie, mostly on my outlook on life, not as single individual but as a human being. His quotes are some of the best I’ve ever heard…

“I continuously go further and further learning about my own limitations, my body limitation, psychological limitations. It’s a way of life for me.“

Ayrton Senna is now what i consider a “major mentor” in my life, an individual who defines a passionate human being with all the right morals. Sublime, spiritual yet, on occasion, ruthless – Senna conquers Formula One to become a global superstar. Privately, he is humble, almost shy, and fiercely patriotic, donating millions to his native Brasil and contemplating a life beyond motor-racing.

Another thing i look for in films is a good soundtrack during the movie, does it fit in? I’ve never heard a more perfect soundtrack to a film. One of the tracks i got from the film (Otto Feat. Bebel Gilberto – Bob) which i listen too everyday puts my mind in a “happy” place, since it brings up a spectacular scene from the movie.

Please consider taking the time too watch the film.
