Governor Marcelo Miranda (PMDB) launched on Monday, 17, the pedagogical programs “Se Tocantins League, Acelera Brasil and Circuito Campeão”. The programs will be developed through a partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute and will allow the attendance of more than 45 thousand students of the state and municipal teaching networks. The solemnity was held in the auditorium of the Tocantinense Association of Municipalities (ATM).
Marcelo Miranda stressed that the resumption of the partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute benefits one of the most important assets, which is Education. “Through this partnership, we have been able to leverage our youth and adult education in the state and municipal networks in all municipalities. Now the path is to resume the path indicated by the new education model of the federal government “.
For the governor, the steps to be taken go beyond the classroom. “They reflect directly on the lives of families and cities, and these programs launched today are laden with the magic of transforming individuals into citizens,” he said, citing the example of Solange Ribeiro, a gari resident at Almas, who passed three colleges this year.
Education minister, Professor Wanessa Zavarese Sechim, explained that while in other states, high school is discussed, in Tocantins the government understands that the basis of an efficient education is in strengthening basic education. “We understand that it is necessary to invest in the base so that the whole course of the student is successful. That is why we are betting on basic education and these pedagogical programs.” The secretary pointed out that the state education network has only 12,000 students in elementary education, while the municipal network has more than 100,000. “Hence the importance of partnership with municipalities,” he said.
Maria Regina Baroni, representative of the Ayrton Senna Institute, highlighted the feeling of representing the entity. “The sentiment is one of honor because of the trust, enthusiasm with the determination of the government and the team, and of the challenge, because of the results achieved previously.”
